on the SRS server.Numina II SRS is a Web-based student response system that uses a
combination of wireless networks, handheld computers, and a data
projector to allow students to submit responses to questions posed
by an instructor. The instructor
poses a question, using a variety of
formats, and directs students to a Web site that
generates the appropriate answer pad on their computer screens through which they submit
their responses.

Using the Numina SRS System in a Classroom |

| Multiple question-and-answer
scenarios are possible. A backend database stores only responses to
questions, not information about the student, so responses are
anonymous. The instructor controls the question number and whether
to display the results—which appear as a dynamically updated bar
chart generated from student responses as they are submitted to the
database—with a data projector that all the students can view. |
